What Is Included in a Professional House Cleaning?

A professional maintenance clean focuses on the surfaces and rooms that affect how the whole home feels: kitchen, bathrooms, sleeping and living areas, hallways and floors. TidyNest uses a written checklist so the expected work is visible before you book.

• Kitchen: counters, backsplash, sink, taps, stovetop, microwave, appliance exteriors, cabinet fronts, bin and floor.
• Bathroom: toilet, shower or tub, glass, sink, counter, taps, mirrors and floor.
• Bedrooms and living areas: reachable dusting, beds when linens are left out, handles, switches, carpets and hard floors.
• Entry and hallways: mats, reachable railings, door surfaces and floors.

Inside enclosed or filled spaces is not part of a regular clean. That includes filled cupboards, drawers, closets, vanities, the fridge and the oven. This keeps the scope clear and prevents belongings or food from being moved unexpectedly.

• Inside the oven and inside an emptied fridge can be selected as add-ons.
• Inside emptied cupboards, drawers, vanities and closets is included in an empty Move-In / Move-Out Clean.
• Carpet shampooing is not included; carpets and rugs are vacuumed.
• Cleaners work around furniture and belongings rather than moving heavy items.
